2019 Georgia WR Jadon Haselwood talks Ohio State

The Latest: Class of 2019 wide receiver Jadon Haselwood is one of the top prospects at any position in his class, so it’s only fitting several of the nation’s top schools are lining up to get his commitment. But Haselwood recently told Rivals.com he’s focused on three programs, Georgia, Ohio State and Tennessee. The Bulldogs and the Vols offer options close to home, but what about has the Buckeyes in the mix? Rivals.com caught up with Haselwood to find out.

In His Words: “Coach Zach Smith is the coach from Ohio State is recruiting me and he told me my size and my length is what they really like, that and my shiftiness and my speed. The think I can be a good fit up there in their offense and be like some of the guys they’ve sent to the NFL.”

On visiting Columbus: “I visited when I got offered back in the fall. They offered me when I was there for the homecoming game against Rutgers. It was crazy. There was a lot of people there and they won so after the game it was pretty fun, too.”

Rivals Reaction: There have been plenty of rumblings about a commitment potentially coming from Haselwood soon, but the longer things go the better it could be for a school like Ohio State. Georgia is believed to be the leader in the clubhouse, but Haselwood also enjoyed a recent trip to Alabama. His visit pattern will be one to watch this offseason.
