Best of the B1G: Offensive Guard

Untitled Document

We are less than a month away from B1G Media Days and excitement about the college football season is starting to grow with each passing day. The Big Ten grew from 12 to 14 teams with the addition of Maryland and Rutgers and the league finally got rid of the "Leaders and Legends" and have settled on the much more palatable "East and West" divisions.

As we focus on getting through July, the last month without football for the foreseeable future, we take a look at the Big Ten and each of the position groups. Who are some of the names you need to know and where do they rank in the big picture within the talent of the league?

Each day we will focus on a different position as we put it up to a staff vote for the top five players in the league at each position.

Other Positions: Quarterbacks | Running Backs | Wide Receivers | Tight Ends | Center

6-foot-5, 315 pounds
Costigan started 12 games and played in 13 in 2013 and is just yet another talented offensive lineman in the Badgers system.
3. Miles Dieffenbach

6-foot-3, 303 pounds
Dieffenbach is an academic All-Big Ten and a heck of a football player to go along with that.
