The Grove Show: Bracketology

Follow Noon | Givler | Maks | Holleran | AndyMac

We're less than a month away from the NCAA Tournament, and while Ohio State really isn't on "the bubble," Thad Matta's squad isn't in as good of position as they would like. Most bracket projections have the Buckeyes seeded as either a No. 5 or a No. 6 seed.

One person that is known for making bracket projections is Jerry Palm, a bracketology expert for CBS Sports. He currently has Ohio State seeded as a No. 5.

Palm says his bracket projections are based on what he thinks the NCAA Selection Committee will do. So what does the Selection Committee value? What's the most important thing an aspiring tournament team can have on its resume? What things aren't important? Palm tells us.

We start the show, though, by discussing what happened during the Ohio State - Northwestern game Wednesday night. What does what happened say about LaQuinton Ross? One of us thinks it's a good thing.

And we finish the show by discussing Braxton Miller, who received his second Silver Football Wednesday night and will have a chance to win an unprecedented third next season. Miller told us why he came back to school and what he hopes to accomplish next season.

All that and more on this week's episode of The Grove Show.
