After more than a week of suspense, the Ohio State coaching staff got some good news on the eve of National Signing Day as Rivals100 offensive lineman Jamarco Jones reaffirmed his pledge to the Buckeyes. The 6-foot-5, 295-pound tackle had been committed to Ohio State since the summer but recently had some cold feet and started taking a close look at Big Ten rival Michigan State.

Jones made his official visit to Michigan State over the weekend before going silent the last few days but on Tuesday evening he made the call to stick with his commitment to Ohio State.

With Jones remaining on board, that leaves just one prospect for the Ohio State coaching staff to worry about as National Signing is just hours away. That prospect is of course five-star defensive lineman Malik McDowell out of Detroit (Mich.) Southfield. McDowell will decide at 9:30 AM on Wednesday morning between Ohio State, Michigan State, Florida State, and Michigan.

Jones is the No. 7 ranked offensive tackle prospect in the nation by Rivals.com, the No. 4 prospect in the state of Illinois for the 2014 recruiting class, and the No. 94 overall player in the nation.
