The Grove Show: Episode 17
It's of my personal opinion that the first two weeks of January are the two best sports weeks of the year.
There's the college football bowls, the first two rounds of the NFL playoffs, and college basketball beginning conference play.
The best two weeks of the sports year did not disappoint, and neither did Ohio State's.
Not everything that happened in Buckeye Nation was benefecial--the loss in the Orange Bowl, the departure of Mike Vrabel to the Houston Texans--but a lot happened, and some of it was very good news.
Braxton Miller is returning to school, as first reported by the Columbus Dispatch Thursday, and the Ohio State men's basketball team looks like its a legitimate Final Four contender.
While the Buckeyes lost to Michigan State Tuesday night, they played like a team worthy of top-five praise.
Did our expectations for this team change based on what happened against Michigan State? What needs to happen for the Buckeyes to truly become a national championship contender? Or are they already at that point?
Find out all that and more in this week's episode of The Grove Show.
