The good news could keep rolling on the recruiting trail for Ohio State fans. On the heels of landing five-star linebacker Raekwon McMillan on Monday afternoon, the Buckeyes now hope to land four-star West Palm Beach (Fla.) Dwyer wide receiver Johnnie Dixon on Tuesday. The 6-foot, 175-pound prospect has set his announcement time according to Dwyer head coach Jack Daniels.

"We're going to do it at 3 PM (Tuesday) after school lets out," said Daniels. "He had a date set a week or so back but we were playing in the state championship game and he didn't want to take away from the team so he didn't announce it that night. He took another week to think about it and he text me today and told me that he was ready to make an announcement."

Ohio State is one of three finalists along with Alabama and Miami (Fla.). While the early buzz was around the Crimson Tide and the Hurricanes, the more recent rumblings have Ohio State in a solid position. Daniels commented on what appeals to his star player when it comes to the Buckeyes.

"They're one of the best colleges in the country year in and year out," Daniels said. "Jack Nicklaus is a great supporter of our program and he's an Ohio State guy (Nicklaus' nephew Nick O'Leary is a Dwyer grad). There's a ton for him to like about Ohio State but the bottom line is that this is Johnnie's decision and he's going to pick where he feel he is going to fit in best."

Rivals.com rates Dixon as the No. 109 overall player in the nation for the 2014 recruiting class and the No. 18 prospect in the state of Florida.
