COLUMBUS, Ohio - Two of the human polls are out as the Buckeyes and the rest of the college football world try to figure out the aftermath of a busy Saturday of foobtall. Alabama lost on a fluke play, Ohio State was pressed by a Michigan team that would not go away and the "shoe-in" of a Florida State versus Alabama title game got thrown out and now many national talking heads are debating if Ohio State should get the nod as the No. 2 team or if a one-loss team might leapfrog Ohio State before the final BCS Standings are released next Sunday.

The Coaches Poll is part of the BCS and has Ohio State No. 2 but only 25 points ahead of Auburn. The Buckeyes do have four first place votes and you will have to wonder if votes will be different next week (provided Ohio State and Auburn both win tough league championship games) when the ballots are made public.

On the other side is the media poll (AP Poll) where the Buckeyes are No. 2 as well but Auburn is also hot on Ohio State's heels as well. Ohio State received a No. 5 and No. 8 vote in the writers poll, but as a final reminder, the AP Poll is not part of the BCS Formula.

In the final poll that counts in the human elements, the Harris Poll, the Seminoles hold a commanding lead but both Ohio State and Auburn each have first place votes. Ohio State holds a 66 point edge over the once-beaten Tigers.

Tonight we will see the BCS Standings, the second to last edition of the rankings. Then there is one week of football left before the final standings that determine who plays in Pasadena (Calif.) for a shot at the top prize in college football.
