Games Noon
Arizona St. vs. Stanford
Noon Says: I won't bury the lead on this one, Arizona State is not going to get a gift call to save it this time around. Okay, Stanford is a lot better than Wisconsin and by all accounts this game should be a blowout because the Cardinal is one of the nation's best teams. Arizona State is a team on the rise but the bar is just going to be too high in this one. Stanford 38 Arizona St. 20
Auburn vs. LSU
Patrick Says: To be honest, I haven't gotten a chance to watch either team much this year. But I do know this. LSU puts out one of the country's best products year in and year out. They're physical and their defensive line can be, at times, scary. I think Les Miles, for as weird as he is sometimes, is a phenomenal coach. Not to mention, quarterback Zach Mettenberger has thrown for 797 yards and nine touchdowns through three games. Auburn is out of their league playing these other Tigers. LSU 35 Auburn 14
Tennessee vs. Florida
Andrew Says: The Gators haven't played since they were upset by Miami, 21-16, on Sept. 7. They've had two weeks to prepare for Tennessee and I think Florida rebounds with a semi-comfortable win in The Swamp. Quarterback Jeff Driskel has struggled in two games this season, but there's talent there, and he should get it going against a Volunteer defense that allowed Oregon to do whatever it wanted last weekend. The Gators offense isn't to the caliber of Oregon's--no one's is--but their offense should give Tennessee some trouble. Florida 35 Tennessee 21
Michigan St. vs. Notre Dame
Tom Says: The Michigan State Spartans travel to South Bend (Ind.) Saturday to face the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame in the 76th meeting of this rivalry. The MSU defense is ranked No. 1 in the Big Ten in total defense, sacks and pass-efficiency defense. While the Spartans are ranked fourth in rushing defense, I believe they have a chip on their shoulder after Notre Dame owned the line of scrimmage in last year's 20 to 3 loss to the Irish. Irish QB Tommy Rees is a big play maker and has terrific receivers in DaVaris Daniels and TJ Jones, but, I believe the MSU defense will pressure the QB and slow the Irish offense down. Connor Cook is 2-0 as a starter and Saturday will be his first road start. He has great WR targets and their offense is developing just in time for the Irish. Michigan State 27 Notre Dame 24
Purdue vs. Wisconsin
AndyMac Says: WARNING: If you're a Purdue fan, you'll want to stop reading......now. I'm not going to sugarcoat this for the Boilermakers. They gave a valiant effort against the Fighting Irish but I wouldn't expect that going forward, especially over the next five weeks. The Badgers have a reputation of being the bully of the Big Ten. They find the weak, they beat them down in all aspects and then tack on an additional 60 points just to be safe. Over the last four years, Wisconsin has averaged nearly 43 points a game against the Boilers. Wisconsin 43 Purdue 16
Arkansas vs. Rutgers
Givler Says: The Brett Bielema era is underway at Arkansas and the Hogs are off to a 3-0 start to their season. Though it hasn't exactly been a murderer's row of opponents, the one thing that Bielema has carried over from his days at Wisconsin are a strong running game. Both Jonathan Williams and Alex Collins are averaging over 100 yards per game and over six yards per carry so far on the season, giving the Razorbacks a formidable 1-2 punch. Rutgers' offense operates quite differently, relying on the play of quarterback Gary Nova who has performed well so far with the Scarlet Knights averaging 39 points per game. This will be a contrast of styles but I look for Arkansas to keep Nova on the sidelines and establish that running game en route to a close road victory. Arkansas 31 Rutgers 27
Boise St. vs. Fresno St.
San Jose St. vs. Minnesota
West Virginia vs. Maryland
Kansas St. vs. Texas
