COLUMBUS, Ohio - There were few people in America that believed that the Buckeyes would be able to start out the season 10-0 on the heels of a 6-7 disaster in the 2011 season. Even head coach Urban Meyer admitted that if you would have asked him in the start of spring ball that he may have had a hard time believing that but now the Buckeyes are going into the bye week with an unblemished record.

On Saturday the Buckeyes were propelled by 299 yards of total offense by Braxton Miller and three rushing touchdowns by Carlos Hyde as the defense allowed only two touchdowns (the third was a mistake by the Ohio State offense that allowed the Illini to score) en route to a 52-22 win in front of 105-thousand fans at Ohio Stadium.

The Buckeyes now have a week without a game but that doesn't mean that it will be lounging around as the team has both Wisconsin and Michigan left on the schedule. But first things first, we talked with Meyer after the game to get his thoughts.
