Look Ahead: Season winding down

FROM THE ROAD: 2011 Offense | 2011 Defense | Underclassmen

Rivals.com analysts are canvassing the country again this week to check out the top talent in person. Here's where they'll be and where their attention will be focused.

Game: Roebuck (S.C.) Dorman vs. Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes, Friday at Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, S.C.

Top prospects:

Patrick Destefano Dorman, 6-4/275, OT, 2012 prospect
Destafano highlights
With eight BCS offers, he is one of the most heavily recruited underclassmen in the state of South Carolina.
Adam Humphries Dorman, 5-11/176, ATH
Humphries highlights
Clemson commit could play receiver or defensive back for the Tigers?
Charone Peake Dorman, 6-3/200, WR
Peake highlights
Clemson commit and U.S. Army All-American is trying to stake claim as the top receiver in the country.

Quick Kicks:
This is a heated rivalry between two teams that met last year in the South Carolina 4-DI state championship. Dorman coach Dave Gutshall brings his team with a perfect 14-0 record in quest of back-to-back titles. Byrnes coach Chris Miller has his squad at 11-3 and would like nothing better than avenge the pain his team suffered in last year's state championship loss.

Game:Corona (Calif.) Centennial at Chino Hills, Friday

Top prospects:

Michael Eubank Centennial, 6-5/232, QB
Eubank highlights
Eubank is a master running Centennial's hurry-up offense and he's finally starting to pick up some serious offers. Arizona State, Vanderbilt, Washington and others are involved. Eubank has thrown for more than 2,300 yards with 20 touchdowns and he's also rushed for 17 scores.
Barrinton Collins Centennial, 5-8/185, RB
Collins highlights
Collins played wide receiver last season but moved back to his natural position as a senior and it's proven to work extremely well. The diminutive back has rushed for nearly 2,000 yards with 34 touchdowns and is exceptionally shifty coming out of the backfield.
Larry Scott Centennial, 6-1/170, WR
Scott highlights
Scott has 37 receptions and nine touchdowns this season and is one of two favorite targets for Eubank in Centennial's electric offense. Oregon State just offered Scott, who is athletic and versatile enough to play receiver or defensive back in college.
Ryan Jack Centennial, 6-1/202, LB
Jack highlights
Jack is a hard-hitting and intense linebacker who seemingly never takes a play off. He recently committed to San Diego State and the Aztecs are getting a good one because Jack is always around the football making plays.
Ifo Ekpre-Olomu Chino Hills, 5-10/180, DB/RB
Ekpre-Olomu highlights
Two weeks ago in a playoff game against Corona, Ekpre-Olomu finished with touchdown runs of 53, 7 and 6 from the wildcat, and he returned a kickoff 100 yards for a score. The recent Oregon commit is also a big hitter on defense.

Quick Kicks:
Chino Hills' offense is hitting its stride. The Huskies scored 45 points last week in a win over Etiwanda and set a school record two weeks ago with 70 points against Corona. Ekpre-Olomu is hardly ever off the field and that's because he's spectacular in all three phases. Want to talk about explosive offenses? Corona Centennial has scored 723 points in 13 games this season and hasn't scored fewer than 44 points in a game all season.

Game: Greenwood (S.C.) vs. Rock Hill (S.C.) Northwestern, Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, S.C.

Top prospects:

Roderick Byers Northwestern, 6-4/262, SDE
Byers highlights
Huge defensive end that may grow into an interior defensive lineman. Could be down to South Carolina and Georgia Tech.
Gerald Dixon, Jr. Northwestern, 6-2/250, DT
Will he follow in his father's foot steps and play for the Gamecocks?
Justin Worley Northwestern, 6-4/196, PQB
Worley highlights
Tennessee commit has amassed 4,788 passing yards with 56 touchdowns this season.

Quick Kicks:
Northwestern coach Moose Wallace brings the Trojans into their third straight state championship game. The difference this time is that his squad is on a roll at 14-0, outscoring opponents 577-252 this season. Greenwood coach Gene Cathcart had a tough job replacing the legendary Shell Dula. But in his second year at the helm the Eagles are 13-1 and looking to win another state championship. He will rely on his defense that is only giving up 12.5 points a game to slow down the Trojans.

Game: El Dorado (Kan.) Butler C.C. vs. Corsicana (Texas) Navarro College, Sunday at Pittsburg State University

Top prospects:

Michael Bowie Navarro, 6-6/300, OT
The former Tulsa prep standout will head back to play for Oklahoma State next year.
Daniel Campbell Navarro, 6-5/350, OT
The former U.S. Army All-American and USC signee will take his talents to Houston next year.
Cornellius Carradine Butler, 6-5/245, SDE
Carradine highlights
The current No. 2 overall JUCO prospect, he could end up at No. 1 when all is said and done.
Toby Jackson Navarro, 6-5/265, SDE
The former Rivals100 prospect signed with Georgia out of high school but failed to qualify.
Marcus Kennard Butler, 6-4/185, WR
Kennard highlights
Kansas State appears to have found yet another junior college gem as he is averaging more than 20 yards per reception with 13 touchdown catches.
Zach Mettenberger Butler, 6-5/245, PQB
Mettenberger highlights
The former Georgia Bulldog has had an incredible season, throwing 31 touchdowns to only three interceptions.

Quick Kicks:
The Citizens Bank Bowl in Pittsburg, Kan., has been dubbed the official NJCAA national championship game this year. It also held that title last season when Brenham (Texas) Blinn College defeated Fort Scott (Kan.) C.C. behind the efforts of quarterback Cameron Newton. The two teams met in the season opener with Butler winning 16-10. Butler comes in at 11-0 and is the Jayhawk Conference champion while Navarro is 10-1 and the SWJCFC champion. Navarro has two other players committed to Houston in addition to Campbell. Cornerbacks Chevy Bennett and D.J. Hayden have also pledged to the Cougars.
