S.C. receiver sets two visits

With the start of the college football season comes official visits, and Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes three-star wide receiver Torian Richardson (5-10, 169) has made the jump on setting two of his allotted five visits.

"I set my official visit for Michigan State Nov. 21 against Penn State," Richardson told SpartanMag.com Tuesday night. "I set up one for Mississippi State. It's the day they play the Florida Gators (Oct. 24)."

If Richardson ends up taking all of his visits, he has an idea about the other three schools that would round out his schedule.

"Probably Louisville, East Carolina and then Syracuse," he said.

Richardson claims offers from the Spartans, Bulldogs, Cardinals, Pirates and Orange, while Kansas State and Tulane have also offered. He also continues to receive interest from schools such as Georgia, Minnesota, Purdue and South Carolina.
