Irving giving Duke a strong look
Last summer the Duke basketball coaching staff began building their 2010 recruiting class by earning commitments from three of their top targets. This time around they will be focused on adding more talent to the class, and potentially building one of the best recruiting hauls at Duke in recent memory. One of their primary targets to help take Duke to that goal is combo guard Kyrie Irving from Elizabeth (N.J.) St. Patrick High.
For approximately the last four months, the Blue Devils have rapidly increased their attention in the 6-foot-2, 175-pound four-star prospect. Over that time period it has become clear the Devils would like to add his name to an already strong list of recruits that includes Andre Dawkins, Josh Hairston and Tyler Thornton.
