Video: 1-on-1 with Larry Caper

LANSING - Four-star running back commitment Larry Caper was in Lansing Wednesday afternoon for a three-team scrimmage with Lansing Sexton and Grandville High School.

Caper made some nice plays on both sides of the ball lining up as a running back and a slot receiver on offense and as a safety on defense.

During a break between games, staffer Paul Konyndyk caught up with Caper for a quick 1-on-1 video interview.

Caper said that he has high hopes for his senior at Battle Creek Central. He would like to rush for more than 2,000 yards as a senior.

Rushing for 2,000 yards will be a difficult task as the Bearcats play a demanding schedule that includes an opening day match-up with Jackson area powerhouse Lumen Christi.

Stay tuned to for footage of offensive line commitment Micajah Reynolds as well as film of four-star center Blake Treadwell whose East Lansing team scrimmaged Detroit Martin Luther King a few miles away from Sexton at Lansing Waverly.
