Short Q&A with E.J. Manuel

On Friday night after Bayside High School's game against Salem High School, VirginiaPreps.com's Mitch Fortner spoke with five-star quarterback E.J. Manuel about his final year at Bayside, as well as his future as a Florida State Seminole. Here is the transcript of that conversation:



Opening Comment:



It's a joy being here at Bayside. I've been here for four years starting and I love my teammates, it's a big moral thing, we are all brothers here. It's great leading my team. Although we lost two games that we should have won, we definitely have some repaying to do if we make it to the playoffs.



Are you still in contact with any other recruits, specifically your good friend Deion Walker?



Manuel:
I'm always talking to Deion (Walker) he said he might come out here tonight, not sure if he came or not. Darrell Scott, Julio Jones, you know the regular guys. I'm still talking to A.J. Alexander trying to get him back at Florida State.
