Holley getting looks

To say Jarred Holley is a cornerback is a little disingenuous because that would put limits on the Easton (Pa.) prospect. Holley, a member of the Rivals 100 to watch in the class of 2008, plays all over the field on defense and excels wherever he is needed.

"He'll wait in the center of the field just before the ball is snapped," Easton coach Steve Shiffert said. "We play a lot of man because we blitz like crazy. Jarred will just follow the ball and then make a play."

It's the same scenario on offense for Holley, who is hearing from Florida, Maryland, North Carolina State, Northwestern, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Virginia, West Virginia and others. Easton likes to mask Holley in the huddle and then he will break out to either side, usually causing matchup problems for the defense as they frantically shout to make sure someone matches up with him.
