Cissoko plays for more than himself
Michigan fans reveled in the pickup of class of 2008 cornerback Boubacar Cissoko Sunday, the same day they lost one of their biggest targets at that position in the 2007 class. What looks like a great fit for Michigan, also is a great fit for the 5-9, 170-pound Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech athlete, according to his defensive coordinator, Charleston Fobbs.
Cissoko emigrated about five years ago from the African country of Ghana, where his parents are farmers. He moved in with his sister and brother-in-law in Detroit then, and has attended Cass Tech since his freshman year of high school.
"He never played football until he came to Cass," said Fobbs. "He played soccer all his life."
