SPARTANBURG, S.C.- The fourth day of practice for the 70th Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas featured many outstanding showings by the prospects on either team. The following is a look at some of the more noteworthy showings on the North Carolina squad from the morning and afternoon sessions on Thursday.

Rockingham Richmond County linebacker Melvin Ingram again was one of the most impressive players on the field during the morning session Thursday. Ingram showed good lateral movement and quick hands during team drills, batting down a pass in the flat. He also showed good straight line speed coming off the edge during goal line. Ingram also blocked his fourth field goal during the week when the North Carolina team was working on special teams.
