Behind the Lee decision
The Ohio State men's basketball team can only watch the NCAA Tournament games after an all-too early departure from March Madness in their first game against Dayton in what seems like an eternity ago. But the future got a little brighter for [db]Thad Matta[/db]'s squad over the weekend with the news that former Temple forward [db]Anthony Lee[/db] would be joining the team for his fifth and final year of college basketball.
The 6-foot-9, 230 pound forward averaged 13.6 points per game during the 2013-14 season to go along with 8.6 rebounds per game. It was some much needed news for the Buckeyes who only announced les than 24 hours prior that [db]LaQuinton Ross[/db] would be forgoing his senior season to start his pursuit of a professional basketball career.
