Campbell ended his recruitment very early in the game and that is the reason he didn't end up as a 20-offer guy because other schools shyed away once he gave his pledge to Ohio State. The two things that are most often mentioned with Campbell is that he is young (considerably younger than his classmate, turns 17 in July 2014) and that he is fast (truly is one of the few 4.4 40-yard guys in the nation). There really was no drama in Campbell's recruitment, giving his commitment less than a week after National Signing Day 2013 and without any pomp and circumstance but he will give the Buckeyes another boost of speed that they have desperately been looking for.

Scouting Report: "His ceiling is really as high as he wants it to be and we've seen that development over the past year. He's starting to mature as a football player and I think he still has plenty of that left to do. What's going to stand out immediately is that he's explosively fast, when he gets out in the open field, he's gone. He does that with great size as well. Right now he's a better athlete than a wide receiver but he has the ability to develop into a great pure wide receiver." - Midwest analyst Josh Helmholdt
