Expect a battle

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Few teams will challenge Ohio State's unbeaten start like Michigan State. Few places will challenge it like the Breslin Center.



The third-ranked Buckeyes, though, will have to contend with both of those things when they head north to play the fifth-ranked Spartans Tuesday night in East Lansing, Mich.



"Obviously you've got a typical, great Michigan State team and they're very,very experienced so from handling their defensive intensity to the transition offense to rebounding the basketball you have to play great basketball across the board to beat them," Ohio State coach Thad Matta said on the Big Ten coaches teleconference Monday.
