COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Don't count on Urban Meyer to join in on what's become the season for politicking in college football.

At least not yet.

"I'll have a comment on Sunday. We play a game. And for someone to ask about something after this game, I mean, that's cheating my football team," Meyer said Monday during his weekly press conference.

Such a bout will be against No. 10 Michigan State and arguably the nation's best defense in the Big Ten championship game Saturday in Indianapolis.

No. 2 Ohio State, of course, will need to beat the Spartans to keep its BCS championship hopes alive. Otherwise, a 24-game winning streak and back-to-back undefeated regular seasons might be all for none.

"There will be no conversation about what happens after this game until after the game," Meyer said.

"We've got to go watch Michigan State's defense and see if we have any comments about anything after this game."
