Ohio State entering 'one-game season'

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State will put an undefeated season, historic winning streak and national championship hopes on the line against arch rival Michigan Saturday in Ann Arbor, Mich., Saturday.



The third-ranked Buckeyes -- which notched their 23rd-straight win under the direction of coach Urban Meyer against Indiana last weekend -- will try to keep their afloat near the top of the BCS standings against a sputtering Wolverines squad.



The last time Ohio State entered the massive confines of Michigan Stadium, though, the Buckeyes lost, 40-34, in a 2011 season marred by NCAA violations and subsequent resignation of former coach Jim Tressel earlier in the year.



But with Meyer at the helm, his crew has yet to taste defeat. Of course, they'll try to keep it that way.



"This is a one game season for both teams," Meyer said Tuesday on the Big Ten coaches teleconference.
