Sooners Have Unique Connection to Big 10 Offer








The majority of offensive linemen the Sooners sign year in and year out are of the states of Texas and Oklahoma. The Sooners have had plenty of success outside of those states as well and it appears they could have a punchers chance with Ross Pierschbacher out of Cedar Falls, Iowa. The 6-foot-4 and 275-pound 2014 offensive tackle recently picked up an offer from the Sooners about a week ago.

Oklahoma appears to have a little bit of help on their side in this race with offensive tackles coach, Bruce Kittle, having gone to the same high school and having been on the coaching staff just a few years ago as well.

"Coach Kittle is from Cedar Falls, which is where I am from and graduated from the same high school. So him and my head coach, who has been coaching for 50-years or something like that, he called my coach and said that they were going to offer me and to give him a call that night. So I gave him a call that night and he assured the offer and talked about their plan for me," Pierschbacher stated.
