Kouandjio spurns 'Bama, commits to Auburn
After three years of listening to recruiting pitches, hosting college coaches, taking calls from the media and watching his Facebook page explode with random fan messages, the No. 4 prospect in the nation finally made his college decision on National Signing Day. With bulbs flashing, television cameras rolling and tape recorders at the ready, [db]Cyrus Kouandjio[/db] pursed his lips, took a deep breath and sighed.
"I talked to my family, my coaches, my friends, everybody," said the 6-foot-7, 322-pound Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha offensive lineman as he stared into the ESPNU cameras at 12:05 p.m. on Wednesday. "And I've decided to go to Auburn University."
