January 26, 2010 - A player's freshmen season in the BIG EAST is in the vast majority of cases a great learning experience. That's not surprising, as the league, in many minds, is the most competitive in college basketball, meshing the need for skills, mental toughness and physical strength. The B-EAST is nothing to joke with.

With St. Johns lacing them up against Georgetown tonight in the Verizon Center, Nate Lubick gets another chance to grow and positively impact Georgetown's season. To date, Lubick, a forward, has averaged 3.5 points and 3.1 rebounds in 17.1 minutes a contest.

On this site's Premium Court message board, we present an exclusive interview with Lubick (his first of the year), one in which he discusses his present niche as a Hoya, points of necessary personal improvement, the high school - college adjustment, Pitt's Gary McGee and Herb Pope of Pitt and the place Georgetown is presently in.

Lubick is tracking to be a key Blue and Grey guy.
