Texas TE enters Oregon's radar
Coach Scott Frost landed 4* WR Devon Blackmon at the Under Armour game Wednesday night but he still is not satisfied. Frost has recently set his sights on Seagoville, TX TE Andrew Peterson. Duck Sports Authority caught up with the 6-foot-5, 250-pounder recently to find out just how much interest the Ducks are showing in him.
"I got two recent offers from Vanderbilt and Miami," said Peterson. "So I'm kind of considering Miami right now and going to take a visit.
"I have five schools I'm really interested in. They are (Texas) A&M, Arkansas, Utah, Oregon and Miami. Those are really my top five right now."
Although Peterson is only a two star his list of offers and his recent surge of recruitment suggest that he could be the type of under the radar recruit that has helped the Ducks build to a national championship run. Peterson attributes the sudden interest in him to a coaching change at his high school this past year.
