DE Taylor hears back on qualifying

Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy defensive end Justin Taylor got back news today on his status with the Hokies. Will he enroll this January?

"I got my SAT score back and it's good. I'm enrolling in January," he said. "I can't do nothing but thank God.

"I'm planning to give Coach Sherman a call tonight."

Throughout his time at Hargrave, Taylor has kept in close contact with players in the 2010 class.

"I've been talking to a lot of the guys from the class," he said. "They've all been telling me good luck and that I've got to get this done cause they are ready for me to get there.

"I'm looking forward now to getting on that football field and helping my boys get to a BCS championship."

Though it's been a tough semester, Taylor has learned from his time at Hargrave.

"I have learned a lot with my academics and football, and just being a better person."

So, now that he is set, what are his goals in the spring?

"I just want to come in and work hard, get bigger and make good grades."

Taylor confirmed Tech is still looking at him as a defensive end.
