UCLA lands tight end

UCLA wanted to land a playmaking tight end in this class and they think they found one in a versatile athlete from the Central Valley area of California. He was offered by UCLA after a standout camp performance.

The player in question is tight end/defensive lineman Raymond Nelson (6-5, 238, 4.65) from Modesto (Calif.) Modesto Christian. In Nelson the Bruins get a player who earned first-team all-league on both sides of the ball, was his District's defensive MVP, made all-state and All-American. He was obviously a very important part on Modesto Christian's state championship team.
