BuckeyeGrove.com was established on September 18th, 2006 as the officially licensed Ohio State site of the Rivals.com network. It is BuckeyeGrove.com's mission to bring you the best recruiting and team coverage of the Ohio State football and basketball programs on the entire web.

Noon oversees the day-to-day management of BuckeyeGrove.com along with serving as the team coverage reporter. Noon started his journalism career interning at CNN Sports in the mid-90's before getting his first paying job at WSYX/WTTE where he served as a sports producer until 1999. Noon produced nightly sportscasts for both the ABC and FOX affiliates as well as served as the producer of Buckeye Football Fever. After leaving Columbus Noon went on to be senior sports producer with FOX Sports Net Florida and FOX Sports Net Southwest from 2000 to 2004. Noon's responsibilities were producing nightly Regional Sports Reports and covering spring football coverage throughout the Big XII conference. Noon later went on to Rivals.com to fill the role of the Big Ten conference editor from 2004-2006. [contact]
Givler is in charge of recruiting coverage for BuckeyeGrove.com and has spent the last five years covering the top high school football prospects in the state of Ohio for various news outlets including CapCityPreps.com and OhioVarsity.com. During that time, Givler has built relationships with coaches and players throughout the state. Givler was brought on board as a full-time analyst in August of 2011 and brings an extensive knowledge of the Ohio recruiting scene to the site as well as a high level of passion and enthusiasm for recruiting and high school football in general. Axelrod has been covering the Columbus sports scene since 2009 when he was an intern with 97.1 The Fan. Since that time he has covered Ohio State men's and women's basketball, football, and women's soccer for Ohio State's student paper, The Lantern, and spent the first half of 2012 covering Buckeyes basketball for TheOzone.net. A 2011 graduate with a bachelor's degree in journalism from The Ohio State University, Ben has has had his work published in USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and SLAM Magazine. Having grown up in Dublin, Ohio, Ben has been attending Ohio State football and basketball games since he was a child and considers himself to be an avid- although tortured- fan of Cleveland sports. Ice Hockey/Football writer
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, McLachlan made the move to Columbus shortly after graduating from Penn State University in 2008. With a degree in Communications and Media Studies, McLachlan gained his writing experience working for the campus paper as a Sports Editor and eventually Co-Editor-in Chief of the paper as well. McLachlan also interned with WSEE-TV in Erie, PA and USCfootball.com for writing and film as well. Since joining the BuckeyeGrove in September of 2008, McLachlan has added to what was already stellar football coverage as well as became the primary writer for the Ohio State Men's Ice Hockey Team. He looks forward to his second year with the stie and sees so much potential with the current writing staff.
