The Duke men's basketball class of 2009 recruiting board is still, for the most part, in the developmental stages. Currently, the coaching staff has a list of about 13 players that they have had some form of contact with over the course of the recruitment period. One recruit that has had some contact with Duke is five-star center Deshawn Painter of Norfolk (Va.) Booker T. Washington High School.
