The Ohio State recruiting effort has not had much recent success out of Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney high school. In the class of 2009 Jim Tressel and the staff hope to change that with defensive tackle John Simon. The 6-foot-3, 265-pounder already has picked up some big verbal offers.
