Vols Chasing Four-Star Forward

VolQuest.com The all-important July evaluation window opens up this weekend, and college coaches across the country will be fanning out for a month-long hike along the recruiting trail. For Tennessee, one of the chief tasks over the next few weeks is enter August with a firm list of possibilities at the forward spots. One of the prospects who the staff will be making a point to watch is North Carolina's C.J. Leslie.
Leslie (6-foot-8, 205 ) from Word of God Academy in Raleigh, N.C., saw himself become a popular figure in recruiting circles with strong showings at several tourney stops in April.
Leslie was already a well-regarded high-major recruit, but his stock jumped up a notch this spring, with Tennessee among the many programs fighting to get in serious contention for Leslie's services.
Rivals.com rates Leslie as a four-star prospect and the No. 45 overall player in the nation.
