Tyler Thornton pretty much has the whole package, and we're not just talking about basketball.

Thornton, a 6-2 combo guard at Gonzaga College High School in DC, carries an overall 3.5 GPA at the prestigious academic institution. Everyone throws the term 'student-athlete' around, but in this case, it's appropriate.

Thornton, 15, is regarded as one of the better guard prospects on the East Coast in the 2010 class, and he recently spoke to Terrapin Times about his game, his recruitment, and his goals.
