The Buckeyes have landed a commitment from one of the top Michigan class of 2007 prospects, Orchard Lake St. Mary's wide receiver Taurian Washington. They also have a good shot at landing Detroit Cass Tech defensive lineman Joseph Barksdale, and have a shot at a couple other class of 2007 stars from the state up north.

So it is not surprising they are making a pitch for the top Michigan class of 2008 prospects. Detroit Country Day running back Jonas Gray is one of those prospects.
