ST. LOUIS--More than ten months after he made his initial
decision, Ezekiel Elliott made his plans to play college football
at Ohio State official. Elliott signed a National Letter of Intent with
the Buckeyes at a ceremony at John Burroughs School on Wednesday afternoon.

Elliott committed to the Buckeyes on April 1, 2012 and held firm with that
commitment for nine-and-a-half months. On the next to last weekend in
January, he took an official visit to Missouri, where his father played two
decades ago.

Before Wednesday, Elliott had not publicly commented about his future since
that visit. But he broke the silence shortly after 4 p.m. with the words
"I'll be taking my talents to the Ohio State University."

Elliott is the No. 84 player in the Class of 2013 and the No. 12 running
back. He is the 24th player to sign with the Buckeyes on Wednesday,
and helps Ohio State maintain the No. 2 spot in the Rivals.com team rankings.

Rivals.com will have more on his decision shortly.
