Hawks offer Ohio DT
After decommitting from Duke, defensive lineman Terrell Jackson has seen several new options emerge, including a scholarship offer from Iowa over the weekend. The 6-foot-3, 255-pound Jackson actually found out about the new opportunity on Sunday while he was on his way home from an official visit to Pittsburgh.
"I just got the Iowa offer yesterday," said Jackson. "I was on my way back from Pitt and my coach called me and said that Coach Kirk Ferentz had just called and offered a scholarship."
As a senior, Jackson was a dominant force on the defensive line, finishing with 75 tackles and 20 sacks for Marion-Franklin High School. Those types of numbers helped the three-star prospect earn first team all-state honors and the defensive player of the year award in his district.
