The offers continue to roll in for Pickerington (Ohio) Central wide receiver Roger Lewis. Lewis has spent the last several weeks tearing up camps and 7-on-7's all over the nation. On Monday evening, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound prospect received his biggest offer to date as he landed an offer from Ohio State. The offer comes on the heels of an unofficial visit Lewis made late Monday afternoon.
The offer is Lewis' 16th overall and joins offers from other BCS programs such as Arizona, Cincinnati, and West Virginia. Pickerington Central has been sort of a mini-pipeline school to Ohio State recently, so where does this offer put Ohio State on Lewis' list?
The Buckeyes join the mix just a month after Lewis dominated their senior one-day camp where Lewis took home the wide receiver MVP and impressed receivers coach Stan Drayton. In that brief time, Lewis and Drayton have been in regular communication.
With new offers coming in regularly throughout the summer, Lewis has a lot to think about and would like to have a final decision before his senior season kicks off in a few weeks.
