The Buckeye recruiting class could grow by one today as Ejuan Price make his decision public any time now between the Buckeyes, Hawkeyes and Scarlet Knights. With that we can now remove him off of the list of non-committed however and turn our attention to who is still on the board.


Ohio State did not host any recruits this weekend but several top targets did visit schools and now the returns are starting to come in. It has to be great news that nobody committed to another program to this point but the tea leaves have to be read carefully for fear of twisting the facts into what you want to believe.



In an interesting development we are adding Andre Sturdivant to the board after he informed BlueWhiteIllustrated.com that he was going to take an official visit to Ohio State at the end of the month. That is out of norm for the S.O.P. of the Buckeyes but we decided it would be easier to add him to the list and ask questions later.


With more prospects than spots how are things shaping up? We take a look with our newest odds.

	Aundrey Walker Offensive Lineman 6-foot-5, 355 pounds Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville HS	Ohio State Visit: 12/10/10 Michigan St. Visit: 12/3/10 USC Visit: 1/14/11	Walker made another visit this past weekend to USC but I really don't feel as if that will have any bearing in the final decision. Glenville players LOVE to visit Southern Cal. Why not?! If someone offered you a trip to Los Angeles and were going to give you the star treatment you'd go, right? As long as Walker stays on the right path he will be a Buckeye. Michigan State is a very distant second. Odds: 90%
	Darius Jennings Defensive Back 6-foot-0, 180 pounds Baltimore (Md.) Gillman School	Ohio State Visit: 12/17/10 Virginia Visit: 12/10/10 Wake Forest Visit: 1/14/11	We have not been able to catch up with Jennings in about a week so we don't really know anything else at this point. He was supposed to visit Wake Forest and then make a decision soon after that. We will continue to pursue Jennings but at this point we think he might find the playing situations more favorable at the other two schools and are downgrading his percentage a couple of points just based on the 'big picture'. Odds: 25%
	Curtis Grant Linebacker 6-foot-3, 222 pounds Richmond (Va.) Hermitage HS	Ohio State Visit: 12/17/10 Florida Visit: 1/14/11 North Carolina Visit: 1/28/11 Virginia Visit: 1/21/11	As everyone expected the field has drawn even between Ohio State and Florida after a trip to Gainesville this past weekend for Grant. The good news if you are an Ohio State fan however is that he is not claiming that Florida leads right after all of the emotion of a solid visit. Trips to UVA and UNC will happen the next two weeks but this is an Ohio State and Florida coin flip for all intents and purposes. I am going to back off the odds a little bit but I would hardly designate this as any sort of falling odds. I still think the good guys win out here. Odds: 51%
	Bryce Haynes Long Snapper 6-foot-4, 185 pounds Cumming (Ga.) Pinecrest Acad.	Ohio State Visit: 12/17/10 North Carolina Visit: 12/3/10 Notre Dame Visit: 12/15/10 Harvard Visit: 1/13/11	Haynes returned from Harvard without a commitment and it is still open to a point. You still have to feel that Notre Dame will be the choice but this is recruiting and you just never know. Does Ohio State have room for a specialist in this class however? The Buckeyes wouldn't make this kind of time investment in a player that they wouldn't take but maybe the staff already feels as if Haynes is headed elsewhere. Odds: 20%
	Ja'Juan Story Wide Receiver 6-foot-3, 190 pounds Brooksville (Fla.) Nature Coast HS	Ohio State Visit: 1/21/11 Florida Visit: 1/14/11 (commit) Oregon Visit: 12/17/10	Story made his trip to Florida this past weekend and had a great time and told people his commitment was 80% to the Gators. But he did not close the door on visiting Ohio State this upcoming weekend which is good news. But you have to figure at this very moment in time that the Buckeyes are third in a field of three. Ohio State should make an announcement on a WR coach this week and have him in place for Story's visit. Everything beyond that will just come down to how the visit goes.Odds: 20%
	James Vaughters Linebacker 6-foot-2, 233 pounds Tucker (Ga.) Tucker HS	Ohio State Visit: 1/28/11 Stanford Visit: 1/14/11 Florida Visit: 1/21/11	The Vaughters camp has been quiet throughout the weekend and there have not been many clues as to how his visit to Stanford went this past weekend. It would seem that he will still give a listen to Ohio State and Florida and the Buckeyes cannot ask for more than that. The ties to Ohio are strong for the Vaughters family. What happens if the Buckeyes are in position to land both him and Grant? It is obvious to me. You fit them both in. Unlikely but not out of the realm of possible. Odds: 40%
	Andre Sturdivant Defensive End 6-foot-2, 249 pounds Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville HS	Ohio State Visit: 1/28/11 Penn State Visit: 1/14/11 Michigan Visit: 1/21/11 -or- Michigan St. Visit: 1/21/11	This one is new to the board and I am still kind of scratching my head over it. Sturdivant is a vastly underrated player but he plays at a position where Ohio State is full and will be full for years to come. Andre said that he was going to visit Ohio State on the 28th and the Buckeyes don't offer officials usually to players w/o offers. As of last check Sturdivant doesn't have an offer. We will put him on the board but it is hard to put odds on a player who doesn't have a committable offer. Odds: INC
