Charlotte (N.C.) Independence wide receiver Adrian Gamble was thoroughly impressed with what he witnessed on Saturday.

He saw a Virginia football team that put it all together against Miami, but he also knows that he can help take the program to another level.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect has had a frustrating senior season.

Independence has won just four games, which is virtually unthinkable at a place that has won as consistently as almost any high school program in the country in recent memory.

Part of that is due to a coaching change and the transition that is taking place related to that.

Gamble has kept his head up, however, and has had a good season individually.
