NC State offered linebacker Brandon Pittman from Leesville Road High in Raleigh, N.C., a scholarship after the 6-foot-2, 200-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.56 seconds at NC State's summer camp in June.

At the time Pittman's lone other major offer was East Carolina. Since then two more ACC schools have joined the pursuit.
