Bruins get in hunt for linebacker
Rick Kimbrel
BruinSportsReport.com When Rivals.com first became acquainted with fast rising three-star linebacker, Aaron Wallace Jr. (6-3, 215) from San Diego (Calif.) Rancho Bernardo it was a year ago at the USC Rising Star's Camp when he only weighed about 180 pounds. What a difference a year makes because during that time he gained 25 pounds of muscle and D-I schools are noticing.
Washington and Texas A&M were the first two schools to offer Wallace and due to a standout performance at UCLA's Skills Camp last Sunday, Wallace walked away with his third offer from the Bruins.
"I was excited to have an offer a little bit closer to home and I like UCLA," Wallace said of his UCLA offer. "It is a great academic school."
