MORGANTOWN--Calling the offer the "pinnacle" of his dreams, state native Cody Clay became the first West Virginia University commitment of the summer and the initial piece to head coach Bill Stewart's freshman class of 2011. He pledged Sunday at WVU's Gold Rush rising-senior camp for offered and non-offered junior prospects.

Calling it a dream come true, Clay and parents, Chuck and Roxanne, took a split second to decide once they were offered.
