Aggies head to Florida for new offer
Fort Lauderdale, Flor., is used to having college football recruiters in the area. St. Thomas Aquinas High School is especially used to it after having four defensive backs head to Division I schools on Signing Day.
But St. Thomas Aquinas isn't used to seeing coaches from Texas A&M roaming the hallways. That, however, has changed with the A&M's offer to 6-foot-1, 170-pound safety Marcus Roberson who played alongside Lamarcus Joyner (Florida State), Cody Riggs (Florida), Keion Payne (Miami) and Brian Robinson (Marshall) as a junior.
Roberson has scholarship offers from Texas A&M and Illinois, and is gaining significant interest from Oklahoma and Miami.
